Power Launch's inaugural event was a celebration of social impact, spotlighting exceptional leaders and their high-potential organizations. Pitch In leverages the existing competition among nonprofits for a greater purpose – to bring new resources to worthy organizations and to create learning opportunities for all. Investors and field experts awarded over $150,000 to the five nonprofits. In a highly competitive process, eleven early-stage organizations were selected to participate in Power Launch's social impact accelerator and competition. Five of these exceptional social entrepreneurs took the stage at Power Launch's Shark Tank for Nonprofits, featured in the Boston Globe.

For our inaugural innovation accelerator and competition, we sought out early-stage organizations with exceptional leadership capabilities and well-researched, compelling program models with the potential for sustained impact and scalability.
